We have the new Viburnum x le bois marquis bred by Hillier’s. An exciting new cross, it is a semi-evergreen upright shrub, only losing its leaves in a very severe winter. Its green foliage in the summer contrasts with its beautiful autumn colours ranging from wine-red to dazzling glossy red throughout the autumn. Clusters of creamy white flowers appear in the summer, and these are followed by decorative bright red berries.
Best planted in moist, well-drained soil and grows to a height of 1.6-2.5m in 5-10 years.
