Wallflowers, Digitalis (Foxgloves) and Pansies
Wallflowers
All the self-colour wallflowers at Downside are F1 Hybrids which means that not only will they be naturally bushy without having to pinch out, but also they will have superior garden performance in terms of flowers. This gives you a much better plant than the ‘old fashioned’ field grown varieties. And, if you take advantage of our multi-buy, the price is comparable – 4 x 3L pots for £11 and you get at least 10 plants per pot. We have just a few for you from which to choose: Our wall flowers come in self-colours including white, and we also have mixed and the taller ‘Persian Carpet’ mixed.
Pansies
Lots of pansies from which to choose… I know we all leave these until next month, but the longer they have to establish themselves in reasonable weather, the better they will thrive!
Digitalis (Foxgloves)
The perfect time of year to plant foxgloves for wonderful long-lasting colour in the Spring. We have them in white, apricot and mixed.
