We have noticed some potted petunias in the supermarkets. Good quality and not overly expensive but do not be fooled into thinking they are the same as the potted petunias from cuttings that we offer, They are almost certainly from seed and will not give the same performance in a basket or tub as a cuttings plant. Look for the PBR (Plant Breeders’ Rights) on the label. All cuttings-raised plants will have it.
Seed-raised petunias have their place though and will give a mountain of colour for not much outlay. We have them in single colours and mixed. Pack of 9 for £3.25
