In Saturday’s Guardian, Alys Fowler wrote about the value of scented plants in the garden.
We have the pinks she mentions, also Lemon Thyme, Nicotiana sylvestris ‘Only the Lonely’ and Nicotiana Lime Green, This last is scarce this season because there was no fresh seed available but we had a little left from last year. We also have Nicotiana ‘Heaven Scent’ and Nicotiana affinis; blue petunias are usually heavily scented and the herb bench is brim-full.
