Rain at last!. Not nearly enough though to bring the soil back to field capacity. April has been exceptionally dry so please keep watering newly planted stock and keep an eye on established plants with flower or tender new growth. This is especially important if the weather turns frosty again. Any slightly wilted flower or foliage will damage badly if it gets frosted. Also, remember that plants in flower need extra water.
