We are in the middle of a heat wave and there is no rain in the forecast, so keep watering! A good soak from time to time is better than frequent dribbles; avoid using a fine spray nozzle as wetting the leaves is no good – you need to get the water to the roots.
Take special care of any potted evergreens – you can’t see them wilt and by the time you begin to see the damage it may be too late.
