Really important to keep watering your plants! It has been a dry season, there is not much moisture in the ground and these warm winds are very desiccating . Newly planted trees and shrubs need a good soak a couple of times a week. It is important not to let the root ball dry out as it is difficult to get it wet again. Treat newly planted trees and shrubs as if they were in pots for the first year and keep a special eye on evergreens – you do not see the damage until it is too late!
