As a start to their topic on green plants, the children from Avon Class walked up to our nurseries, explored our greenhouses and chose plants for their outside play area. They loved the smell of the different herbs and even chose a curry plant which smells just like a curry! And the next day they had fun planting out their plants and getting very mucky.
