We are increasingly being asked for cut flower annuals. They are lovely to cut for yourself and make great presents for friends. Not difficult to grow, a little staking might be needed but that is about it. This year’s ambitious list includes the following, and we have included images below...

The seeds are in – at least most of them. Some are still to arrive, hopefully before their due sowing dates! Some old favourites are sadly no longer available, but we have found good alternatives. Now the planning begins: things like peppers and tomatoes need an early start to take...

We have been looking for reasonably priced standard hollies for ages. Now we have managed to get some nice ones, about 1m clear stem and decent heads. Plain and variegated. All will berry. Only £59.99....
