We are getting feedback from customers having difficulty getting trees and shrubs properly established. Although the weather has not been hot and sunny, we have had a lot of wind which can be as drying as the sun. Many plants will have been grown in peat-free compost, which does not hold water or nutrients as well as the compost we have been used to. Our advice is to water regularly with dilute liquid feed until the plant is well rooted out. Any feed you have to hand will help, but if you are buying, choose rose food for the best balance of nutrients.
