According to the trade press, up to 10% of commercial greenhouses are not being cropped this season due to high fuel costs and a shortage of labour. This means it is an excellent time to grow your own. Our vegetable plants offer good value. We choose only the best varieties so you can expect reliable results. The first hardy plants are ready now: Broad Beans, Swiss Chard, Spinach, Beetroot, and Brassicas. Tender things like Runner Beans, Courgettes and Sweetcorn from May onwards. We grow these with frost protection so you can get a head start. Plants that have been kept warm and planted out later will do better than those that have had to struggle with cold nights.
