We thought you would enjoy this picture of Richard at the Jurassic Mountain Fishing Resort on his fishing trip in Thailand in February. Just under a two hour drive south west of Bangkok, the resort is beside the stunning seaside town of Cha Am. Here is Richard proudly with an ARAPAIMA weighing more than 240lbs (109kg) and a good 9’ length. It was of course returned to the lake after the photo! You’ll notice he is wearing his Downside Nurseries polo shirt!
The arapaima (Arapaima gigas) is a freshwater fish species in the bony tongues family (family Arapaimidae) of order Osteoglossiformes (bony tongues), native to South America.
