We have been busy sowing perennials for next year. One new item Lorraine is keen to see is Eryngium giganteum ‘Silver Ghost’.
Eryngium can be annuals, biennials or perennials with simple or divided leaves, often spiny edged, and cone-like flower-heads often surrounded by an involucre of conspicuous spiny bracts. It is similar to the famous Miss Wilmott’s Ghost, but less biennial and much more likely to establish itself.
Make a diary note for next Spring to pop in and see if we’ve been successful! Probably March/April…
